PRC ADVISORY: Schedule for Holy Week and Extension of the Deadline of Application for Licensure Exam for CPA

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the suspension of work on Wednesday, 28 March 2018, starting at 12:00 o’clock noon, in observance of Memorandum Circular No.43 declaring work in government offices suspended, to enable government workers to prepare for the observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

All clients who have an appointment in the afternoon of March 28, 2018 will be accommodated in the morning or on Monday, April 2, 2018.

PRC ADVISORY: NO EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR EXAM APPLICATION

This is to inform the public that the scheduled deadline of applications for various licensure examinations as indicated in the 2018 PRC Calendar of Licensure Examinations will be strictly enforced. NO REQUESTS FOR EXTENSION will be entertained.

All applicants are encouraged to apply before the scheduled deadline. For more information about the filing of applications for licensure examinations, please visit our website at www.prc.gov.ph.

 

 

 

March 2018 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination Results Released in Three (3) Working Days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 2,648 out of 3,644 passed the Medical Technologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medical Technology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this March 2018.

The members of the Board of Medical Technology who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Marilyn A. Cabal-Barza, Chairman; Ms. Marilyn R. Atienza and Ms. Marian M. Tantingco, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examination.

ADVISORY: Power Interruption in PRC Central Office on March 17, 2018

Due to Electrical System maintenance, the PRC Central Office will experience a power interruption starting at 12 noon, today, March 17, 2018. The PRC website will also be temporarily down during the said maintenance.

The Power Supply and the PRC Website is expected to be restored at 3:00 pm, today.

March 2018 Physician Licensure Examination results released in three (3) working days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,067 out of 1,601 passed the Physician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Zamboanga this March 2018.

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eleanor J. Galvez, Chairman; Dr. Edgardo T. Fernando, Dr. Miguel L. Noche Jr., Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Ma. Graciela Garayblas-Gonzaga and Dr. Clarita C. Maaño, Members.

The results were released in three (3) working days from the last day of examination.

Establishment of the Professions’ Learning Outcomes for Relevant Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF) Levels

The Professional Regulation Commission conducted a series of consultative meetings with various Professional Regulatory Boards and their stakeholders in the creation of a specific language of learning outcomes for relevant Philippine Qualification Framework (PQF) levels.

The PQF is a quality-assured national policy system for the development, recognition and award of qualifications and is based on standards of knowledge, skills and values acquired in different ways and methods by learners and workers.
