Manila, August 16, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission informs applicants who intend to submit Certified True Copies of PRC documents to the Office of Consular Affairs (O.C.A.) on the requirements of claiming the documents at the O.C.A. as follows:

The Board of Optometry recommended the postponement of the licensure exam. “While the Board anticipates new appointments to the Professional Regulatory Board of Optometry, it has determined that there will be no sufficient time for the new members to formulate questions and prepare for the September and October 2013 licensure exams”, the Board said.

Registration for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card will start on August 15 to 16, 2013 at the PRC- REGISTRATION DIVISION UNIT C. The date and venue for their oathtaking WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

PRC Tuguegarao announces that in observance of the celebration of the 289th Patronal Feast dubbed as Pavvurulun Festival on Friday, 16 August 2013 in the City of Tuguegarao and the declaration as a Special (NON-WORKING) day (per Proclamation No. 631 dated August 2, 2013), office transactions/operations are temporarily suspended on the said date.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 25 out of 42 passed the Metallurgical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Metallurgical Engineering in the cities of Manila and Davao from August 10-12, 2013.

The members of the Board of Metallurgical Engineering are Agustin M. Fudolig, Chairman and Juancho Pablo S. Calvez, Member.

Manila, August 7, 2013 – The Professional Regulation Commission announces that the licensure examination for Criminologists originally scheduled on October 26, 27 and 28, 2013 has been re-set to OCTOBER 24, 25 and 26, 2013.

The Board of Criminology through Board Resolution No. 3 dated July 31, 2013 stressed the need to re-schedule the dates of the examination as the third day falls on the date of the baranggay elections (October 28, 2013).

The deadline for filing of applications for examination is moved from October 7, 2013 to October 4, 2013.
