PRC Celebrates ASEAN Month 2020
On August 8, 1967, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was established in Bangkok, Thailand, through the signing of the Bangkok Declaration. From the five original member states (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand), the ASEAN has now grown into a ten-member state (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore,Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the temporary suspension of services in PRC Regional Office - Cebu and its Service Center in Robinsons Galleria Cebu on August 6, 2020, Thursday, in celebration of the Foundation Day of the Province of Cebu.
This is pursuant to Republic Act No. 8952, “An Act Amending Republic Act. No. 7698 Declaring August 6 of Every Year A Special Non-Working Public Holiday in the Province of Cebu to include its Highly Urbanized Cities of Cebu and Mandaue and its Component Cities of Lapu-Lapu, Danao and Toledo”.

Due to the declaration of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in the National Capital Region (NCR), Laguna and Cavite beginning August 4, 2020 until August 18, 2020, the following PRC Offices will be closed to public but will continue to implement a work-from-home and skeleton workforce whenever appropriate or until the lifting of MECQ:

PRC Observes Eid Al Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice)
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in the observance of Eid Al Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice) on July 31, 2020, Friday.
Along with this, PRC is temporarily suspending its operations in all its Offices and Service Centers on July 31, 2020 (Friday) and shall resume on August 3, 2020 (Monday).
Appointments set on the said date will be accommodated upon resumption of operations.
